Final Blog Posting

"Your past is important because it brought you to where you are,
but as important as you past is, it is not nearly as important as the wasy you see your future."
      Dr. Tony Campolo

As you look back on four years of high school education, I want you to post what is the one memory from high school that you will remember ten years from now.  Narrow it down to just one memory.

  1. One memory i will remember ten years from now is probably freshman year eating lunch at the cursed window sill.

  2. Might sound dumb, but switching schools. This was probably the best choice I made during my high school career.

  3. The memory I will remember most is freshman year feeling like a complete outsider to the Accelerated Core classes to senior year feeling like i have made some of the best friends I've ever had.

  4. I wouldn't narrow it down to one single memory but high school football is something I will never forget. The work ethic, all my teammates and coaches, and just the fun I had playing

  5. I cannot narrow it down to a single moment. But the thing I will remember most about high school is the feeling of acceptance and friendship. I spent a lot of high school not really knowing who I was or liking who I was hanging out with. In four days I will leave here with the strongest friendships and relationships that I will always remember. It was hard, but I know who I am now.

  6. There is no way I can narrow it down to one moment. But I agree with Anna, what I will remember the most is the friendships I have made these past four years.

  7. I will remember this four years as the most painful years without my parents, but I have also learned many things that I would not if I do not live with my aunt.

  8. Although it is dificult to narow my high school expiriance down to a single memory I am going to because the asingment asks it of me. One memory, among many, that will stick with me is my exciperiance at the state ski meet this year. Going to the state ski meet marked the end of somthing that throughout high school brought more joy into my life then almost every thing else I particeipated in. By shareing the state ski meet with the people who have been my best friends in high school, I cemented the trip in my mind forever.

  9. I will not go into too much detail..but starting May 26 with the senior prank, to senior skip day, and to all the other crazy stuff that happened this weekend will be the best memories of high school. Not only because they were crazy, and fun but because I was with my best friends having a ball!

  10. I am always going to remember sitting in the auditorium of George Fox this year with Sydney Culpepper while we waited to find out if we took first place at state choir. I was so nervous because I really wanted to win it. When We heard KU called out for first Sydney and I jumped up and hugged each other and just started to cry and scream with joy. That memory with her is one that I will never forget. :)

  11. Probably will always be the euphoria of winning state both freshman and senior years for band. Definitely a motivational force.

  12. Most memorable for me would probably be when we were huddled on the floor of the orchestra room on a cold day, and we found out we won districts and were the only 4A school to make it to state. Being with all my orchestra friends and the sheer joy of that moment will stick with me forever.

  13. Over the past four years, the KU volleyball program has suffered immensely with a consistant change in head coaching. Because of this inconsistancy and overall lack of determination in the girls, we had a very difficult season this year especially. Though I became extremely frustrated at times with it being my senior year, I learned more about myself, being a teammate, and a leader than I think I ever will. Celina and I especially shared an intense desire to succeed and learned the significance of mental toughness, self motivation, and leadership through example, which is something we will carry for the rest of our lives

  14. One thing that I know I will remember ten years from now would be while I was getting my picture taken for the spring sports poster and nailing the photographer with the ball on one of my serves. It taught me that you should always expect the unexpected because sometimes life throws you a curve ball. JUST KIDDING! Honestly, like most of what I have read, I can’t narrow down my four years of high school to just one memory. However, in my four years of high school, I have gotten to know some of the best people I have ever met. They have impacted my life in such a great way that there’s no way I will forget them in ten years. So for that, I choose the close friends that I have made during high school as the thing I will remember ten years down the road.

  15. This is difficult... some of the most vibrant memories include the several times winning state, experiences I have had away from home, along with some of the most recent "senior" events... Although it may be too soon to assume so, but I think the most memorable bit of high school will be at Modoc field on June 12th.

  16. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think back on high school is an experience that had nothing to do with school at all. Rather, I remember going to San Francisco with two of my closest friends who pretty much are the majority of my high school memories. I do agree with Tay though about graduation being the most memorable because it will be the time when we look back at everything we have accomplished and everything that we have experienced.

  17. I think winning state band my freshman year will stick with me the most. It was really amazing to be apart of something so incredible as a freshman. That experience helped to show me all the possibilities of the future.

  18. I will always remember winning state band when I was a freshman. I remember we wanted to win so badly for Mr. Moresi because it was his last year. It showed me that a little group even from Klamath Falls can really come together and do great things.

  19. 3rd time trying to post this. Graduated now. I think that the cardboard boat races were still more memorable :D. (sad, isn't it.)

I needed to use the bathroom, I was freezing to death, and my team got 2 places at once. Woohoo! I had a great year.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.
